COURSE OBJECTIVES
To attain a satisfactory level of achievement in:
Communicating ideas, feelings, and actions with listeners.
Utilizing effective listening skills.
Developing public speaking skills.
Evaluating and participating in small group communication processes.
ATTENDANCE POLICY

After five (5) absences grades will be reduced one letter grade per absence. If you have a major illness or complication which causes you to miss more than five times, don't just quit coming to class. Please contact me personally so we can try to work out the problem.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
  1. Read all assigned text material.
  2. Participate in class projects and discussions.
  3. Deliver two oral speeches: one demonstration and one informative
  4. There will be two written exams: make up exams will be given during class one week after it was originally given. One letter grade will be taken off your score without a written excuse attached to the make-up exam.
